Well, today (4/19/2015) is the last day of the Star Wars Celebration Convention and I have to tell you that many from all parts of the world converged at the Anaheim Convention Center to witness history in the making of bringing this convention to the West Coast.  And it was a tremendous success – as you can see by the pictures that were taken from the four days of this event.   I hope that this convention will remain here on the West Coast.  We look forward in seeing this the next time it’s in the Anaheim area.   Enjoy the Day 4 photos.

Star Wars Celebration – Day 1 (April 16, 2015)

Glad that the STAR WARS Celebration came to the Anaheim Convention Center in California.  This should be the permanent venue to have this convention each year.  We would like to thank the staff of this event in providing us a Media Pass where we can take pics, show different types of events, and take lots and lots of pictures with people in awesome costumes.  Let’s not forget the great autographs received today (such as Ray Park – aka Darth Maul, aka Snake Eyes).  This gentleman gave fans a run for their money – taking pictures, selfies, and posing with children.  Big thanks to Mr. Park.  Check out the pics on Day 1 we took.  We will continue to update this event for Friday (April 17th).  Stay tuned!

XCOM: The Board Game

XCOM The Board GameIn XCOM: The Board Game, you and up to three friends assume the roles of the leaders of the elite, international organization known as XCOM. It is your job to defend humanity, quell the rising panic, and turn back the escalating alien invasion coordinated by the game’s innovative, free digital companion app.

I’m an avid fan of ALL XCOM games (which I play on the XBOX 360 and PC).  XCOM games make you think as a Commander, research various artifacts as a scientist, and make strategic moves when encountering alien activity in the cities they are trying to occupy.  If you have played any of the XCOM games on PC or gaming consoles, playing this board game with the free app for the iPhone or Android can be very challenging, but also rewarding as a gamer.  Multi-tasking in this game is a must.  You’ll enjoy playing this game.  This is highly recommended for gamers alike.
